Complex Director of Leisure Sales

The Director of Luxury Sales Cluster is responsible for leading and overseeing the commercial strategy for Leisure Sales at Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya and Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya. This role focuses on developing both international and domestic markets within the Leisure, Wholesale, and Consortia segments, ensuring the achievement of revenue, ADR, and business mix objectives. The position includes managing the Luxury Sales Managers team, coordinating initiatives with Hilton Worldwide Sales, and fostering relationships with key strategic partners in the luxury travel sector.

Functions Description

  • Design and implement the annual sales strategy for the Leisure, Consortia, and Wholesale segments.
  • Supervise and support the Luxury Sales Managers team in achieving their individual and collective goals.
  • Develop business relationships with key strategic partners, luxury travel agencies, tour operators, and consortia networks.
  • Coordinate marketing and communication efforts in collaboration with the Hilton Luxury brand and corporate teams.
  • Manage marketing plan for consortia and wholesale, execution and strategies according to budget guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of key international markets (U.S., LATAM, EMEA, APAC, and Canada).
  • Develop the strategy for participation in industry events and luxury travel trade shows.
  • Manage production reports, forecasts, pipelines, and performance analyses.
  • Prepare strategic presentations and performance reports for ownership and corporate teams.
  • Support the preparation of executive presentations and participate in planning meetings and quarterly reviews with owners and regional teams.
  • Propose incentive plans, promotional actions, and strategies for low-demand seasons.
  • Ensure proper alignment of rates, policies, and contracts with the Cluster Director of Sales and Revenue Management.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development within the team.

Knowledge required

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Proven experience in the Luxury Leisure and Consortia markets.
  • Advanced knowledge of DELPHI.fdc, Opera, and Cvent platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Hilton Luxury Brand Standards and global strategies.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting KPIs, production, and forecasts.
  • Experience in leading multicultural teams and managing performance.
  • Ability to represent the brand at international forums and high-profile events.

They are expected to attend all required courses, trainings, meetings, or workshops related to the role. Participation in operational meetings organized by management is also essential to maintain alignment with hotel objectives and service standards.

In addition, Complex Director of Leisure Sales is responsible for complying with, and enforcing all policies, procedures, and guidelines related to Sustainability, Occupational Health, and Safety.
