SO/ is a coveted collection of hotels rooted in the world of fashion, commanding attention with it’s avant garde design and creative approach to the world of luxury. SO/ Auckland is located in the heart of Auckland’s CBD. With views of the Waitematā Harbour and city, across 16 floors and 130 design-led rooms.

We are currently look for a Concierge Full-Time (32 Hours per Week) who is hands on and has a keen eye for detail to help us deliver the best Guest Experience! We welcome you to join us in the front row at SO/ Auckland and become a part of Accor’s lifestyle brand collective Ennismore!

 

Job Description

 

Your Role

  • Greet every guest and visitor with genuine warmth, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive.
  • Share your knowledge about the best local attractions, dining options, and hidden gems, helping guests make the most of their stay.
  • Handle guests’ luggage with care, store belongings securely, and park cars with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Anticipate guest needs, record preferences, and manage requests, questions, and messages promptly to enhance their experience.
  • Ensure public spaces are always tidy and inviting, keeping an eye out for anything that might need attention, from a misaligned cushion to a lost-looking guest.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, even when addressing challenges, and work effectively to find solutions that satisfy our guests.

 

Qualifications

 

THE PERSON

  • To be successful, you’ll need a valid Full New Zealand Driver’s License.
  • Ability to drive both Manual and Automatic
  • Able to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts as needed.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and communicate clearly with guests and team members alike.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic setting where quick thinking and flexibility are key.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 30kg with ease.
  • Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
  • Naturally outgoing and comfortable starting conversations with guests.
  • Positive, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to supporting your team.
