Director of Revenue SLS

We are looking for a Director of Revenue to join the pre-opening of SLS The Red Sea.

Ennismore, with its luxury brand SLS Hotels, is currently opening a magnificent project in the oasis that is The Red Sea. SLS The Red Sea is planned to open in 2025.

Introducing the newest gem of dazzling luxury to reach The Red Sea project: resort offers 150 luxurious keys, complemented by an impressive array of 7 distinct Food & Beverage outlets and a rejuvenating spa sanctuary. Catering to both adults seeking a getaway and families craving connection and some adventure, this hotel brings a wonderland of extraordinary experiences to The Red Sea, providing an array of amenities and activities tailored for travelers of all ages.

Job Description

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supports SLS Hotels while monitoring group and transient business thresholds within the five-year forecast to ensure measurable financial improvements for demand and availability. Supply critical analysis on the effect of short-range decisions effecting occupancy, average rate and rooms profit goals within the current.
  • Provide feedback on property revenue management strategies through attending morning rev max, weekly sales strategy meetings, property visits and ongoing collaborative conversation.
  • Analyze and review monthly and weekly STAR Report results, understand gains or losses of RevPAR Index and apply this knowledge to impact and predict future results. Identify trends to drive focus and rally guidance support team.
  • Identify/create best practices and share for the benefit of the entire portfolio.
  • Analyze industry/market trends and economic data and communicating to the guidance team and field.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to fabricate demand during need periods and identify strategic e-blast and other marketing offers that can drive results across the portfolio.
  • Lead the monthly forecast review process for the portfolio with the goal of delivering accuracy of +/- 5% across all hotels.
  • Support the Annual Operating Plan process for SLS.
  • Development and execution of a strategic plan annually for the department.
  • Active outreach to key constituents- brand partners, ownership, third party internet partners, engage in speaking opportunities with HSMAI, local universities, etc.
  • Support high level displacement analysis and decision making (extended stay groups, etc.)
  • Provide high level direction on annual RFP process.
  • Train sales and front office teams to understand revenue management principles and the roles they play.
  • Train the team on how to maximize the value of available revenue management tools through the respective brands.
