As a Duty Manager you bring a heightened sense of responsibility, a focus on delivering exceptional service, and a dedication to ensuring a seamless and secure guest experience to our dynamic Front Office Team.
- Ensure all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner and that all Radisson standards are met
- Responsible for training, coaching and mentoring new joiners
- Ensure all Front Office quality standards are complied with and that policies and procedures are consistently in check
- Coordinate activities with other departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communications and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in the daily maintenance of room inventory to achieve optimal levels of revenues while maintaining high levels of guest experience
- Supervise the activities and the service levels of the concierge, one touch service, and front desk divisions to maximize the use of Hotelkit in the property.
- Responsible for Radisson Rewards membership program and ensure that all guests who are members are appropriately recognized and meeting all Radisson standards.
- Drive Radisson brand standard programs with continuous training and initiatives within the Front Office team.
- Drives the Front Desk Up-selling Program
- Demonstrate co-operation and trust with colleagues, supervisors, teams and across departments
- Develop potential of others through training, coaching and development opportunities
- Takes an active role in ensuring that teams demonstrate and drive the Radisson Brand initiatives and deliver the brand Commitment.
- Liaise with AFOM on staffing and performance levels to achieve maximum guest satisfaction
- Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
- Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments
- Participates in developing new initiatives to enhance guest experience
- Work effectively with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries
- Assist the Director of Rooms to ensure a correct and smoothly operating department.
Salary Band
- Competitive Salary provided – AED 4,000
- Service Charge Average – AED 700
- Accommodation provided at Al Khail Gate
Qualifications
- Experience in Front Desk for at least 1 year in the same capacity
- Ability to adapt to changing service environments
- Pro-active with a hands-on approach
- Passion for the hospitality industry
- Ability to manage work ensuring that tasks assigned are delivered
- Ability to find creative solutions, offering recommendations
- Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to work collaboratively at all levels within the department
