Job Description

 

We are looking for a Special Events & Conference Services Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong, career-focused background in events management. We’re seeking someone who is detail-driven, guest-centric, and naturally creative, with a warm yet confident presence. This role oversees Special Events of varying complexity and requires someone who can balance operational precision with an elevated, personalized client experience.

Contract Type: Permanent
Rate of Pay: $65,000 – $70,000 per year, dependent on experience

Job Duties Include:

  • Specifically handle the Special Events market (contracts, responding to inquiries etc.)
  • Manage internal and external social events and corporate catering market
  • Respond quickly to guest requests in a professional manner. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction within 24 hours.
  • Clearly communicate details of events to client and hotel departments via contracts, banquet event orders (BEO), résumés and internal meetings
  • Conduct site inspections with prospective couples and clients, showcasing the hotel
  • Ability to close the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional coordination with Banquets, Culinary, Rooms, Sales, and external partners to ensure seamless event execution
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings
