About the job

The F&B Captain is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of an assigned section or service area within the restaurant or outlet. The role provides guidance and support to F&B colleagues, ensures consistent delivery of exceptional guest service, and maintains the highest standards of food, beverage, hygiene, and service in accordance with the hotel’s luxury standards.

As F&B Captain you will be responsible for the following duties:

Guest Service

• Welcome and engage with guests in a warm, professional, and personalized manner.
• Ensure guests receive attentive, efficient, and seamless service throughout their dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, preparation methods, beverages, and current promotions.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively respond to requests.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and escalate matters to the Outlet Manager when necessary.
• Ensure all special requests, dietary requirements, allergies, and guest preferences are communicated accurately to the relevant team members.
• Conduct regular table checks to ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
