F&B Supervisor

Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting a F&B Supervisor to join a team made of modern and authentic hospitality professionals in the newest luxury lifestyle hotel in Milan.

Reporting to the F&B Outlets Manager, the role will cover any tasks related to the F&B service in any of our outlets.

  • This is full-time position, 5 days a week with 2 days off.

Join a newly opened lifestyle luxury hotel

Working in a newly opened luxury lifestyle hotel is an incredible opportunity to gain strong expertise in hospitality and a great exposure to Marriott International EMEA leaders. This can remarkably accelerate your career growth within the company and provide you the right tools to be involved in other openings at national and international level. It is indeed a challenging experience but surely a rewarding one!

What you’ll do

  • Act as the point of reference for the F&B outlets operations during the shift.
  • Ensure daily checklists and tasks assignment are completed in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Take guests’ food and beverage orders and record them in the internal system (Infrasys).
  • Make recommendations on menu items, special requests and upsell where appropriate.
  • Ensure that all customers enjoy an authentic and efficient service, and check with them that the dining experience is meeting their expectations.
  • Ensure that the outlet is set up and ready for each service period.
  • Order and restock outlet inventory and record transaction in the company purchasing system.
  • Balance the cash register at the start and close of each shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank in compliance with Marriott International Policies of cash handling.
  • Act as departmental trainer for discipline and Marriott International&Brand trainings
  • Conduct daily briefings liaising with the culinary department to ensure alignment.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and brand identity guidelines.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards (LQA, Forbes, Marriott and Brand standards)
  • Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies.

What you’ll need:

  • Passion for the luxury lifestyle hospitality industry.
  • A warm, people-oriented demeanor and a team-player attitude.
  • At least intermediate knowledge of Italian and English.
  • A safety-first approach.
  • Positive outlook and dependability.
  • Previous experience in similar roles is an advantage.
