Job Description

Due to an internal promotion, Oaks Brisbane on Charlotte Suites is looking for a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to lead our front office team on a full-time basis.

Upon arrival at our hotel, guests will immediately feel welcomed and valued, thanks to your warm and inviting presence. As a key leader, you will inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain the highest service standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide an exceptional guest welcome experience by upholding service excellence and ensuring front office and reception operations run smoothly.
  • Greet guests upon arrival, ensuring they are comfortably settled into their rooms.
  • Foster professional, clear, and honest communication to assist guests and manage accurate bookings.
  • Lead and support your team in delivering outstanding guest experiences and welcoming services.
  • Ensure all daily tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and on time.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate guest accounts and contribute to daily reporting processes.
  • Effectively manage team scheduling to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Assist the Hotel Manager with recruitment efforts to build a strong, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 2+ years experience at a supervisor level within a Hotel environment
  • Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
  • Understanding of Trust accounting
  • A passion for delivering exceptional, pro-active customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
