The Villa Marquis, Member of Melia Collection,  a 5-star boutique hotel , fully renovated and located in the heart of the Golden Triangle, near the department stores and the Eiffel Tower, is looking for its future talent as a Front Office Manager  (M/F) to complete the Reception team.

What am I going to have to do?

As Head Receptionist, you are responsible for the quality of reception, customer satisfaction and the smooth running of the reception service. 

• Oversee all reception operations and ensure the quality of the welcome and customer service according to the hotel and group standards.
• Ensure the organization and smooth operation of the reception department (receptionists, reservations, night audit).
• Manage, motivate, and support the reception team in their professional development (recruitment, onboarding, training, performance monitoring).
• Develop and monitor staff schedules based on hotel activity.
• Ensure compliance with internal and administrative procedures and the group’s quality standards
. • Optimize the hotel’s commercial performance by contributing to occupancy rates, average daily rate, and RevPAR (upselling, availability and rate management).
• Oversee reservation management and room availability across various systems
. • Manage complex situations and customer complaints to guarantee an optimal customer experience.
• Monitor invoicing, payments, cash handling, and accounts receivable.
• Track reception activity indicators (statistics, no-shows, etc.). (Late cancellations, groups)
• Organize and coordinate VIP arrivals in collaboration with the various hotel departments
• Ensure smooth communication between reception, other departments, and management
• Lead reception department meetings and participate in management meetings
• Monitor quality results (customer surveys, internal audits, mystery shoppers) and implement improvement plans
• Participate in the department’s budget monitoring and the optimization of the hotel’s financial results
• Ensure proper equipment management and participate in reception department inventories

What are we looking for?

  • You have at least 2 years of successful experience in a similar role in a high-end establishment.
  • You have fluent French and English; proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • You are meticulous, organized, and passionate about your profession.

What will my benefits be?

  • Permanent contract
  • Weekly working hours: 39 hours
  • 2 consecutive days off per week
