The Lead Host is responsible for overseeing the guest experience, ensuring that all interactions are conducted with the highest level of attentiveness, courtesy, and efficiency. This role involves not only managing guest seating and greeting, but also organizing the floor plan, delegating sections, and ensuring smooth operation of all front-of-house processes. The Lead Host communicates effectively with the Manager on Duty (MOD) to maintain seamless service.
In addition, the Lead Host maintains the host stand, the reservation system, and the menus, ensuring they are always up-to-date and organized. The Lead Host serves as the point person for overseeing the front-of-house team and ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction are consistently met.
