About the role:

A Steward is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen and service areas. Your attention to detail helps maintain a safe and efficient environment that contributes to the overall guest experience.

What You Will Do:

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand or walk for extended periods or for an entire work shift.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Strictly adhere to the department’s opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure the workplace and surrounding areas are always clean and organized.
• Demonstrate an understanding of Good Hygiene Practices, including their purpose and procedures.
• Maintain hand wash stations (e.g., ensuring they are stocked with soap, paper towels, gloves, a step-on trash can, and appropriate signage) and ensure they are fully functional.
• Perform general cleaning duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.

· Ability to follow cleaning and safety procedures accurately

· Attention to detail and strong work ethic

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

· Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle cleaning equipment
