Job Description

 

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Room Service Manager to join our team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of our room service operations, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maintaining efficiency and profitability.

  • Lead and manage the room service team, including hiring, training, and scheduling staff
  • Oversee daily room service operations, ensuring prompt and accurate order fulfillment
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Create and update room service menus, considering guest preferences and local cuisine
  • Manage inventory, place orders, and control costs to meet budgetary goals
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to provide seamless service
  • Analyze performance metrics and prepare regular reports for upper management
  • Stay informed about industry trends and implement innovative room service concepts

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a guest-centric mindset
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and point-of-sale systems
  • Solid knowledge of menu planning, food service, and inventory management
  • Experience in budgeting and financial reporting
  • Advanced problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • Food safety certification
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian cuisine and cultural norms
  • Understanding of Islamic dietary laws and halal food preparation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
