Sales Manager

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, HMI Hotel Group. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Manager (Corporate) is responsible for proactively identifying and securing corporate business opportunities to achieve the hotel’s revenue targets. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding market trends, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field;
Preferred:
•Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
•Strong understanding of the corporate travel market and client procurement processes.
•Proficiency in sales and CRM software (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce).
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
*Business level proficiency in English and Japanese language is required.
Key Task:
1. Proactive Sales and Business Development
•Identify and pursue new corporate clients to meet or exceed revenue goals.
•Participate in sales calls and presentations to secure new business.Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting the corporate segment
