Senior Sales Manager

As a Senior Sales Manager (Luxury Leisure), you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and strengthening the market presence of Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok for Leisure Market and adhoc leisure Groups.

Working closely with Revenue Strategy, Events and Operations teams, you will lead the development of strategic partnerships and cultivate meaningful relationships with travel trade partners, event planners, DMCs, and industry stakeholders. Through a proactive and consultative approach, you will identify new business opportunities, maximize revenue streams, and contribute to the continued success of one of the world’s most celebrated luxury hotels.

This role combines strategic sales leadership, relationship management, and market intelligence, with a strong focus on delivering commercial results while upholding the exceptional service standards and legendary guest experiences synonymous with Mandarin Oriental.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth across Luxury Leisure and Group segments through proactive sales and business development initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve budgeted room night and revenue objectives.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with corporations, multinational companies, travel trade partners, DMCs, event agencies, associations, and key industry stakeholders.
• Conduct sales presentations, client meetings, site inspections, and business reviews to strengthen client engagement and loyalty.
• Negotiate and manage corporate agreements, contracts, and commercial partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Generate incremental business for guestrooms, meetings, events, banquets, and Food & Beverage outlets.
• Represent the hotel at trade events, industry functions, roadshows, and sales missions to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
• Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue Strategy, Events, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional client experiences.
• Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and sales activity reports to support business performance.
