Mission:

The position is the Sales Manager based in Hue City, responsible for the management of sales activities in line with the annual sales and marketing plan and to achieve/exceed budget in executing the sales strategy of hotel. She/he will assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives and achieves personal sales goals.

Main Responsibility: 

    • Ensure that all the events are managed efficiently according to the established business, budget and marketing plan by following Melia Hotels International SOP.
    • Planning, organize and promote unique events and milestones together with outlet managers.
    • Prepare Banquet Event Order correctly and send to all Department
    • To coordinate events and any artistic performances with outlet managers to ensure operational readiness, efficiency in resource utilization, and prompt delivery of services.
    • To implement a flexible work schedule based on business patterns.
    • To be constantly involved in the operation and to be present during all events.
    • Ensure an accurate Events Schedule is kept and discussed it with Sales Manager on a weekly basis.
    • Arrange the entire necessary requirement for the client in accordance with contract, including but not limited to accommodation, transportation, audio requirements, meals etc.
    • Ensure that all revenue are calculate correctly and correct any operational errors.
    • Work pro-actively to minimize complaints from guests.
    • Monitor and ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction by providing quality client and guest service and products within corporate standards.
    • Establish and maintain a good customer relationship with clients.
    • To follow-up with clients and guests after an event to determine satisfaction; measure these results and establish strategies to improve the quality of the guest experience.
    • Ensure guests receive efficient, knowledgeable and courteous service, and high quality products and service.
    • Summarize all revenue each month and send Monthly report to Sales Manager.
    • Performs any other duties assigned by Sales Manager.
    • Produce weekly and month report

 

Requirements:

  • Fluent Vietnamese in both speaking and writing
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required Strong negotiation
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position with proven track records
