About the location:

Luxurious mountain lodge in the heart of the American West. Nestled in a verdant mountain valley, Five-Star Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole is surrounded by some of America’s most rugged peaks, celebrated ski runs and wildlife in nearby Grand Teton National Park. Adventure for every season awaits, complemented by luxurious guest rooms and onsite amenities.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • The Stewarding Manager reports directly to the Executive Chef, and oversees all aspects of the Stewarding operation, including forecasting, budgeting, inventory, scheduling, training and motivating other Stewards in the Resort.
  •  Assist in the selection, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, coaching, and disciplining ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness of back of the house Food & Beverage areas, including silverware, cutlery, glassware, etc.
  • Ensure the organization and sanitation of all kitchens, storage areas, employee dining room, waste receptacle areas, compactor room, carts, tables, and Stewarding Department equipment and machinery through constant monitoring and adherence to a vigorous cleaning schedule.
  • The Stewarding Manager ensures proper usage and preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
  • Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
  • Work closely with the F&B Management to coordinate an adequate supply of china, silver, glass and other equipment used in service.
  • Wash china, silver, glassware, pots, and pans, Assist with cleaning of kitchen and Stewarding Department areas.
  • Safely utilize and store all cleaning compounds, chemicals, and materials including soaking solution utilizing the correct protective clothing

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Previous stewarding our F&B leadership experience required.
  • Strong leadership skills in managing a diverse team
  • This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays. Day and evening shifts.
  • Position requires the ability to push, pull, lift up to 50lbs.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
