Job mission:

Maintain, control, and safeguard the supply of equipment to all points of consumption for operational use: tableware, glassware, flatware, assembly equipment, buffet decorations, and bar equipment in sufficient quantities to meet operational needs. This must always be based on the quality, cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and conduct standards established by the brand.

What will you have to do?

  • Schedule sufficient staff for the optimal performance of their duties, while staying informed of the daily requirements of the operation. 
  • Organize, train, and supervise your staff in the proper handling of equipment, internal operating procedures, discipline, presentation, and personal hygiene according to Paradisus brand standards.  
    Coordinate, control, and distribute workloads, as well as break schedules, vacations, and meal times, complying with personnel management policies and procedures.
  • Establish jointly with the Executive Chef and the Food and Beverage Manager, the stock pair of the operating team. 
  • Request, control and manage all equipment used in consumption centers, event service and banquets, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Know your department’s budget.
  • Support the head of the department in preparing the projections.
  • To know the economic results of your hotels and the economic results of your department, as well as the deviations vs budget/projection.
  • Ensure compliance with the economic objectives established in the department and is aware of the economic objectives of its hotels, as well as their fulfillment.
  • Understand the Brand’s philosophy, ensuring optimal implementation of the standards, operating manuals and identity guidelines that apply to your department. 
  • To ensure a positive customer experience and personalize their stay, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations. 
  • Manage customer incidents, communicating the actions taken to the Guest Experience Department of the specific hotel.
  • Understand and share the Voice of the Customer objectives with your team and ensure their fulfillment, supporting the creation and definition of improvement plans if necessary.
 What are we looking for?
  •  Knowledge of hotel operations.
  • Knowledge of REVO, and POS handling.
  • Knowledge and updates on the latest trends in Oenology.
  • Ability to advise clients.
  • Knowledge of food pairing.
  • Organization, commitment, openness to innovation, analytical thinking, proactivity for excellence, quality and professionalism, service orientation, development of commitment and talent, teamwork.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience.
