The Opportunity:

The Sales & Catering Administrative Assistant position is critical to the success of our business from a financial perspective and a guest, employee experience. This position will work with every department on property as well as with our guests/customers throughout their journey with us from the inquiry and reservations stages to the execution of the program, or duration of their stay. The primary responsibility of this role will provide support for Hotel Sales (both Group and Travel Industry), Event Planning, and Event Sales handling very important information collected from our customers and distributed back to clients and the resort operations’ teams. This will require the knowledge and skill to work in multiple platforms and hotel operations. This role keeps the sales cycle moving while improving sales manager’s efficiency and productivity as well as nurturing the planning process and eventual execution of meetings and events.

The Sales & Catering Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales Managers, Catering & Conference Service Managers and Director(s) while being familiar with all aspects of the Sales & Catering process. This person ensures that the property’s Golden Sales & Catering system meets corporate standards, confirming that all departments using Golden Sales & Catering are following corporate standards.
