At Meliá Hotels International we are looking for an F&B Director for our emblematic Hotel Victoria A Gran Meliá 5* located on the Paseo Marítimo in Palma.
Job Mission: Your mission will be to organize and supervise the activities of your staff to ensure the quality of service offered to guests at the hotel’s points of sale. This will contribute to achieving the hotel’s food and beverage ratios and its economic, quality, work environment, employee development, and operational objectives. Furthermore, you will support the creation of a successful guest experience by ensuring the implementation of Gran Meliá’s Service Culture.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position in 5-star hotels
- University education relevant to the position (hospitality, tourism or similar).
- Operational knowledge (buffet, à la carte…) and in event management.
- Ability to foster additional income initiatives in the department.
- Teamwork, planning, goal and customer orientation, and leadership.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of English. Knowledge of other languages will be considered an asset.
