Executive Assistant Manager

Peppers Beach Club situated in the heart of Port Douglas, one hours drive north of Cairns in Far North Queensland. The property combines beautifully appointed accommodation consisting of spa suites, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses all within walking distance to four-mile beach and the main street where you will find an array of local shopping options. Guests enjoy a lagoon style pool surrounded by lush palm trees where they can enjoy food and beverage offerings day and night from KOKO Poolside Bar & Kitchen. When enjoying your days off there is plenty to keep you occupied, from the Daintree Rainforest to the Great Barrier Reef, there is so much to experience in this little slice of paradise!

 

Purpose

As the Executive Assistant Manager at Peppers Beach Club, you will play a pivotal role in shaping exceptional guest experiences, optimising revenue, and leading seamless operations across multiple departments. Working closely with the Area General Manager, you will have the opportunity to be mentored by a seasoned leader while overseeing the daily operations of the resort.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, collaborating closely with the Area General Manager and departmental leaders to efficiently manage operational needs
  • Engage in forward planning and strategic thinking for future success to ensure profitable operation across all departments
  • Set performance benchmarks and define expectations across departments to continuously enhance and uphold service standards
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and security measures with guests, staff, and property in mind
  • Address and find solutions to operational, departmental and guest challenges
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to empower teams in developing their own expertise and personal growth

 

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Operations or Executive Assistant Manager
  • Proven strong financial and business acumen
  • Genuine and effective communicator, adept at managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding organisational skills with a keen ability to prioritise tasks and respond promptly
  • Poised and composed, even in high-pressure situations
  • Able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
