We’re looking for Restaurant Supervisor – Pavilion Dining who share a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. The position reports to the Assistant Restaurant Manager.
Work authorization for the location is required.
What you will do
1. Perform all tasks in the Pavilion Dining department.
2. Supervise the consistency or quality and efficiency of food and service.
3. Monitor all amenities so they are delivered on time and are properly maintained.
4. Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly goals and budgets.
5. Prepare staff schedules according to forecasts, daily and weekly payroll reports and scheduled functions.
6. Coordinate and execute functions or special receptions in rooms, suites and boardrooms.
7. Hire, train, supervise and discipline all Pavilion Dining employees.
8. Utilize all computer systems relevant to the department.
9. Maintain a log book with important information to be passed onto management.
10. Establish and effective and efficient method for setting orders properly.
11. Train order takers in proper selling and telephone techniques.
12. Confer with the Food & Beverage Manager on a regular basis.
