Job Description

 

 

  • Achieve daily targeted number of sales calls with effectiveness and document all interactions in the CRM system
  • Develop business leads for the Hotel on a weekly basis and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective accounts
  • Prepare monthly list of accounts to penetrate for the following month with detailed market analysis
  • Plan a minimum of 2 site inspections and entertainment meetings per week with qualified potential accounts or new accounts
  • Prepare monthly action plan for main market segment aligned with overall hotel revenue objectives
  • Perform monthly review of account profile on room nights production and average rate to identify growth opportunities
  • Monitor competitors’ rate strategy, account penetration, and marketing activities to maintain a competitive edge in the market
  • Fully responsible for accounts under his/her management, including contracting, updating profile, and renewing contracts in a timely manner
  • Update management on VIP arrivals, meet and greet accordingly, and ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Up-sell, cross-sell, and promote Hotel facilities and services at every available opportunity to maximize sales revenue
  • Conduct negotiations to achieve the best profit margins and competitive rates for the Hotel while maintaining client satisfaction
  • Attend hotel clients and local community business events to network and maintain high visibility within the market
  • Update Director of Sales and Marketing on market trends, business leads, and competitive intelligence on a regular basis
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members, providing guidance on sales techniques and account management best practices
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including conversion rates, average deal size, and revenue targets
