• Responsible for maintaining a strong client relationship and ensure that all convention specifications are communicated to and executed by all departments.
• Oversee events, manage the team and allocate responsibilities to the team.
• Coordinate and supervise the execution of all events to ensure clients’ specifications are adhered to and that the convention runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Any matter which may effect the interests of ACCOR should be brought to the attention of the Management.
• To prepare and submit in the prescribed format the information necessary for budgeting purposes.
• Conduct departmental meeting as required to communicate effectively with all events department team to ensure that they are kept current on pertinent information and activities.
• To ensure a prompt, courteous response and follow up to all enquiries.
• Ensure that duty rosters are compiled with, making certain that adequate number of the team will be on duty.
• To ensure that the service of food and beverages is courteous and professional.
• Responsible for smooth, efficient, cost effective operation of all Events functions.
