Assist. Conference & Banqueting

The Munich Marriott City West sets new benchmarks and standards in meetings & events. Inspired by the Bavarian lifestyle and with 398 guest rooms and suites and nearly 5000 sqm of public space, including a state-of-the-art conference center, customized and first-class event needs are put into practice. The upscale concept includes the Italian Assoluto restaurant & Vineria with open show kitchen, the Assoluto Deli and the westhub Lounge & Bar, offering an outstanding culinary offering combined with warm hospitality in a stylish ambience. Who we are looking for…

You are a host and have organizational talent and have also had your first experience as a manager. You approach our international guest clientele with warmth, openness and professionalism in order to make their event something very special. Whether conferences, weddings, product presentations or congresses – you have an overview of our large event areas and our state-of-the-art conference technology. Together with the C&B team you will make every event a success!

 

What are your responsibilities are…

You are responsible for the proper execution of operational processes

You never lose track of many different events and manage to guide the team of employees and trainees accordingly

You provide fantastic service and a perfect event for our guests

Close collaboration with the C&B Service Manager and the company’s Convention Sales & Event department to carry out all kinds of events professionally and successfully

You support our Convention & Banqueting Service Manager in diverse administrative and operational tasks

You successfully implement creative and innovative F&B concepts in the MICE area – always keeping the overarching hotel goals, brand standards and sales targets in mind

You are a real team player working together with all hotel departments and the leadership team

You are jointly responsible for the further development of our banquet team and trainees and enjoy passing on your extensive knowledge

 

What we want from you…

You have at least 2 years of professional experience in the conference & event sector with initial team leadership experience

You tackle things and implement new trends with great creativity

Your strong awareness of quality and your high standards are evident in everything you do

You are a talented communicator with good knowledge of German and English

You have organizational talent and don’t lose track

Your winning demeanor, your can-do attitude and hands-on mentality are a natural part of your personality

Your guest orientation and willingness to perform inspire your team to achieve top performance.

Your enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge with your team and trainees is contagious!
