Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, sincere greeting to all guests upon arrival and departure, using appropriate names and titles whenever possible.
- Open and close vehicle and resort doors with grace and professionalism, ensuring an attentive and polished arrival experience.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the Bell Team, Valet, and Front Office to manage guest luggage and transportation needs efficiently.
- Assist the Valet team with parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a responsible and timely manner.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in the hotel entrance and public areas, ensuring the arrival experience is defect-free.
- Uphold the brand’s Emotional Luxury philosophy, ensuring every interaction feels bespoke, heartfelt, and memorable.
- Act as a storyteller, sharing knowledge about the resort’s nature-focused concept and the unique natural beauty of the Red Sea destination.
- Anticipate guest preferences by observing their needs and providing proactive assistance without being intrusive.
- Ensure the safety and security of the entrance area, monitoring traffic flow and reporting any unusual activities or hazards.
- Adhere to all Raffles and Accor hygiene, safety, and service standards at all times.
Qualifications
Personal Attributes & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury 5-star hotel or resort.
- Must possess a valid driving license and have experience with luxury vehicle handling.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional appearance and etiquette aligned with luxury standards.
- Fluent in English; Arabic and other languages are considered a significant asset.
- Strong physical stamina, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move objects in excess of 75 pounds as required.
- A “Be Kind” and “Be Happy” personality, demonstrating empathy, emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for guest service.
- Experience in a resort pre-opening environment is highly desirable.
